CITY EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

 The City of Dayton offers an extensive benefits package to its employees.  Employees can choose from several health plans, will receive a Dental/Vision Reimbursement Plan and can also select optional Dental and Vision Insurance and Family Coverage.  The City also offers a Pension Plan, Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, with a contribution match.  Employees also receive Life Insurance, Military Leave, Maternity Leave, Bereavement Leave, Healthy Incentive Program and an Employee Assistance Program.  Employees can earn 12 Paid Time Off days per year and up to 20 Vacation days per year depending on length of service.  City employees also receive 13 paid holidays each year.  The City also offers a Tuition Reimbursement Program.  Other benefit information can be obtained by calling the Human Resource Office.
